Hi everyone!
Well, if you follow me on Twitter or Instagram or get my newsletter you might have already heard the big news…
I have a new book coming out next year! (well, actually TWO, but I can’t talk about the other one just yet.)
But I can talk about this one, and I’m pretty darn excited because this will be my first nonfiction book ever. And it’s a book I’ve been wanting to write for years!
DEAR ALLY, HOW DO YOU WRITE A BOOK?
It’s going to be exactly what it sounds like–me, answering writing-related questions from REAL teenagers! Because I’ve learned through the years that a lot of you are extremely passionate about writing, and you ask some GREAT questions.
Plus, “how to write” books were really important for me when I was starting out, but there were none aimed at teenagers. This is my attempt to change that.
But first….
I need you help.
I NEED REAL WRITING-RELATED QUESTIONS FROM REAL TEENS!
If you’re a teen and you like to write… Or if you know a teen who likes to write….
PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR WRITING-RELATED QUESTIONS RIGHT HERE, and I’ll go through them all and–hopefully–yours will end up in the finished book!
The book, btw, will be published by Scholastic in the fall of 2018–just in time for NaNoWriMo!
Again, I’m afraid that questions left in the comments here probably won’t get recorded into our big, official list, so if you want your question considered, just go to AllyCarter.com/DearAlly and let me know what you’d like to know.
In the meantime!
Happy reading (and writing!)
-Ally
Hi I read the form and I have a question. But, I am 12 but I will turn 13 in July this year so may I ask a question for the book?
In my opinion it wouldn’t matter but I can’t speak for Ally Carter
Thank you omg I’ve been needing all the self help books I can get.
Are you ging to make a book four for heist society and embassy row?
Embassy row is a trilogy which means only 3 books and I absolutely LOVE heist society and technically she could do another book but I kinda doubt it (not trying to be the buzzkill but just saying what I think and know)
