Does anyone know that old country song that goes “Houston! Houston means that I’m one day closer to you…”?
Well, I do. And I’ve been singing it all week because, you guessed it, I’m going to Houston this weekend!
If you’re in the area, please check out the Tweens Read Book Festival!
It’ll be this weekend at the South Houston High School in South Houston, TX!
They have over 30 authors lined up, and it looks like it’s going to be awesome! And if you come see me I’ll tell you what Super Secret Project #1 is!
For those of you who can’t make it to Houston this weekend, well, I can’t tell you about SSP#1 just yet, but it’s coming VERY SOON. I promise!
Word will probably go out to my newsletter subscribers first, so if you want to be sure you get ALL the big Ally news (book updates, tour info, movie news, etc) be sure you sign up here!
(note: there are technically TWO newsletters, and you can sign up for either or both. The “Big Event” newsletter goes out 1-3 times per year–just with big news like tour info. The “Ally Chat” newsletter is new, and it go out 1-2 times per month with more conversational, casual updates–kind of like blog posts.
So: Houston, I hope to see you!
Everyone else: I hope to have big news that I can share VERY soon!
Ally
YESI CAN’T WAIT! I’M GOING TO MEET YOU THIS WEEKEND!!
Well I went but I had to leave before I got a chance to meet you because my mom didn’t feel good and had to go to the hospital…I’m pretty disappointed but I hope you get a chance to come to Houston next year 🙁
Hi, I really want to receive Ally Chat but I can’t sign up because when I press ‘Join me’, the button goes black and then blue again. When I check my email to ‘opt in’, I don’t have any emails! I’ve tried at least ten times so I really don’t know what’s happening.
P.S. I also didn’t get the second chapter from Take The Key And Lock Her Up but I was an Ally Ambassador.
That happened to me also.
Hi! What time does it start/end ? And is it Saturday or Saturday AND Sunday ? Thank you 🙂
I saw you there! It was so amazing! You were awesome and I loved it when you talked! Of course You probably don’t remember seeing me, since there were millions of kids there, but I loved seeing you!
