I read more ebooks than paperback books because it is usually easier when you are on the go. However, on rainy days you can never go wrong with a real book!

I usually prefer to read ‘Old School Paperbacks’, as you put it(: They just feel better in my hand, and my collection is definitely larger on my bookshelves that my e-reader.

I prefer “old school paperbacks” because I think I can read then whenever, and not have to worry about my batteries draining and other technical issues. Also, the satisfaction of turning pages after pages and watch you get closer to the end is something that an ebook can not provide for me.

I read more ‘old school paperbacks’ 😉 they feel better in my hand, the battery never dies, the brightness of the screen never hurts my eyes if I’m reading at night, and…I’ve always liked the smell of books…..each one has its own unique smell partly from the bookstore, and partly because of the publisher house and partly because of some unknown factor. Ebooks don’t smell…..so i don’t like them as much. however. i do have the 1st and 3rd gg book ebook style bc we were at the beach when I wanted to read the 1st and at my grandpa’s when i got to the 3rd and i couldn’t wait to read them, so i bought them online. i have the 5th and 6th paperback/hardback and am saving to add the other 2 to my collection……the only heist i own is perfect scoundrels but im working on changing that…..

I like to read actual books more than e-books. The feel of actually flipping the pages feels like an accomplishment. Plus e-books hurt my eyes after awhile

I’d say I read both e-books and physical copies pretty frequently. However, I do like to buy my favorite books in the “old school” form so I can always see them on my shelf and quickly read through my favorites again and again. 🙂

Old School Paperbacks have that “magical feeling.” I like reading a well worn paperback any day. But ebooks do save a lot of paper (and weight), especially in school textbooks!

    Hi!
I like to read old school paperback and hardback books! I feel like you don’t get the full experience of the book when its an ebook because you don’t get to turn a new fresh crisp book page with the tips of your fingers. also, it may be weird but there’s like a smell to books that is intriguing and helps with wanting to read regular books instead of ebooks!

I read more old school paper books than ebooks because I love going to the library and picking out new books to read. However when it comes to purchasing books, ebooks are the way to go because they are so much cheaper than the actual paper book and I love love love that the nook has a built in book light so I can read all night long:)

Aw, why does everyone say “Old School” paper books…makes me feel behind the times or something for preferring good ol’ paper. xD Though I do lug SO many books from the library, I also read e-books because a lot of the time, that is the faster (or only, in some cases) way to get my hands on titles I want to read.
But I much prefer actually books. <3 And I always buy my absolute favorites for my book shelf.

I feel like I read an equal amount of both. I love to read actual books with the covers because i feel like there is a very excited feeling about opening the cover and flipping through pages and a very satisfied feeling when I finish the book. Unless of course you”re reading a series and the author gives you a MAJOR cliff hanger. (cough cough hack Rick Riordan hack cough hack) Haha. Although I love to read ebooks whenever I feel like I want to read one of my books there. 🙂 Which do you prefer?

I don’t know why people consider it old school, but I love paper back books! just the feel of the book in my hands, turning the pages, the smell! its totally amazing and fantastic! So I definitely prefer “Old School” paper back, but I like e-books too. I have read quite a few e-books, and I find that way is easy and convenient compared to paper back. If I ever find a book, that happens to be an e-book, that I love, I will try to find the paper copy for my bookshelf. You know that library in Beauty and the Beast? Yeah, I’m working on my version of that so if I love a book, I want it on my shelf too.
