Some upcoming events

January 22, 2014 by Ally Carter 20 Comments

Hi everybody!

Ally here. It’s a cold January day, and I’m already thinking about summer. How about you?

I know you guys already know that I don’t have a full tour scheduled for 2014, but I do have a couple of events that I wanted to let you know about.

RT Booklovers’ Convention
New Orleans, LA
May 17, 2014

I will be signing at the Giant Author Book signing (one of hundreds of authors!) as well as taking part in Teen Day (note that Teen Day registration is just $30!)

*All RT events require a registration fee

Romance Writers of America Annual Convention
San Antonio, Texas
July 23, 2014
5:30 pm

I will be signing at the “Readers for Life” Literacy Autographing* which is, basically, THE BIGGEST BOOKSIGNING IN THE WORLD. Or…maybe not the world. But it is a giant one. And I will be just one of hundreds of authors–many of which are superstars. And that is cool.

*This event is free and open to the public, but the rest of the conference DOES require a registration fee

I know a lot of you will be disappointed that I’m not coming to where you live, but do know that I go almost every place I’m asked. So…if you want an author to visit your local store, I recommend you 1) support the local store and keep them in business! And 2) tell the store which authors you would like to see. You never know–you might get them!

Now, I have to get back to work on Embassy Row so that, come 2015, I will have a new book to go out on tour to support!

To attend the full conference it is quite expensive, but the Literacy Autographing is FREE and open to the public.

It is warm then cold then warm then cold, it is weird here. One question, Ally who are you rooting for Broncos or Sea hawks I won’t be mad if you choose Sea hawks or neither. I am not mad anymore at sherman , he apoligized. Though I am mad at that store for firing a kid employee for wearing a broncos jersey, which doesn’t have anything to do with the team sea hawks just the store.

Don’t worry, southern Michigan and Northern/Middle Ohio bookstores are always aware of you. My cousin and I stop at bookstores and constantly ask if they have your books and if they do author visits and tell them we would totally come. Last time you went to Lansing we were thrilled! I mean, we even made T-shirts…
