Magnificent Veterans Day

November 11, 2013 by Shellie 8 Comments

Hi All!

Happy Veteran Day! Today we honor the men and women who served in the U.S. armed forces. It is a fitting day to say “thanks” to military families, who make sacrifices for their country every day. We would like to say Thank You! to all our fans who have a parent or parents serving in the military. And ask everyone to please pass on the gratitude to a military family in your life.

Have a wonderful week! See you next week with a fun puzzler!

xoxo,

Shellie

Thanks so much Shellie! I know a lot of people involved in the military and I always thought veterans day was an amazing way to solute them. Funny, this morning (on Veterans Day) I actually finished reading a novel about a World War Two Veteran. When I was done it kinda hit me how ironic it was that I I’d just finished his story on the day we celebrate amazing people like him.

I have a cousin in the military. I thank ever single veteran out there for fighting for our country! And also families who have someone in the military. STAY STRONG! I pray to God that he will protect him/her and he will protect you as well!

We just dropped my brother off at the bus station. He is leaving to finish his marine training. He wants to be a sharp shooter which I think is really cool. Is it weird that I think to myself that my brother is sort of like a blackthorne boy? 🙂 I love my brother and am soo proud of him.
