I’VE SOLD A NEW BOOK SERIES!
Yes. It’s true. Here is the official announcement:

I have been wanting to write this series since 2007, and I’m absolutely THRILLED that I’m going to finally get to explore this incredibly rich and interesting world that can’t help but be filled with amazing characters.
I’m equally thrilled to be working with the tremendously talented David Levithan, a good friend whom I have admired for years and with whom anyone in this industry would be lucky to work.
The first book will be published in 2015 (because, seriously, I’ve still got to write it).
And now I’ve got to go do exactly that!

The other day I was thinking about how all of my favorite book series are coming to a close and then I won’t having anything to read, but then I read this and I got all excited because now I have something to read! I love the idea behind this book, it sounds like it will be an amazing read!

June 24, 2013 at 11:27 pmMy little sister is the same, she refuses to read books if I’ve read them and love them. Once we were at the library and she picked up the first three Gallagher girls books. She brought them to me and asked which one came first. I told her which one and then went on to say she didn’t need to check it out because I had the first one at home (at the time i only had the one). She handed them back to me saying to put them back on the shelf because she wasn’t going to read any of them. Little sisters can be so stubborn.

June 25, 2013 at 2:40 amI think that the people who don’t like to read haven’t found what they like reading. I used to hate reading until I read PJO after reading that I fell in love with reading. It lead me to find authors and genres I liked now I can’t stand a day without a book. 🙂

Shes is more into her phone and blah blah blah. I want her to read the GG or HS series so we can fangirl about it but is not gonna happen i guess.

July 1, 2013 at 1:15 amyour guys friends/ sisters probably haven’t found what they like to read. I know it’s confusing when someone doesn’t like the same books you do ( especially when they are as awesome as GG and HS) but everyone has different tastes. as long as they keep trying out new books and genres eventually they will find something they like and hopefully it will lead them to more things. then at some point you guys might find a book or genre you both like and you can fan girl over that ( even if they aren’t Ally’s books I think she will be happy that they are reading).

Read sooo many other series’ but I can honestly say I have read all of GG’s (besides UWS) four times. Theyre awesome. never ever putting them down 😉

July 3, 2014 at 4:18 pmIt’s cool Evie, I will be 17, but my 53 year old dad loves these books. I know that sounds creepy but I think these books are just that good! I practically cry whenever I think about the fact that the GG are over. I swear I’ll never find books that I enjoy as much as the GG. And I’ll never find better friends than Bex, Liz, Macey, and Cammie. Even if they are fictional.

I’ll be 16 in 2015 but i’ll still read her books because their awesome and from a previous conversation, my older sister is the one who got me hooked on GG books so don’t give up!
