Magnificent Monday Reading List

May 20, 2013 by Shellie 135 Comments

Hey Everyone!

Great job last week on finding the excerpt! I accepted all answers from hardback, paperback, and electronic formats. No prize this week but I do have some questions for you!

As I am starting to pack for my vacation later this week I was gathering my GG books to take. I am rereading the GG series before Ally gives me United We Spy to read!

So my questions for you are….

1. What is on your summer reading list?

2. Are the books for school, pleasure, or both?

3. Have you read the book(s) before or will this be the first time?

4. Any books that are also movies?

5. What book are you most looking forward to reading?

I can’t wait to read your answers and hopefully get some more summer reading ideas for myself ; )

Have a great week!

xoxo,

Shellie

P.S. Don’t forget to send all your Fan Art to [email protected]

P.S.S. United We Spy excerpts will start in a few weeks!

P.S.S.S. As a rule we do not let people exchange email addresses on this site. This is for security reasons since we cannot verify that everyone are who they say they are. Sorry!

    1. What is on your summer reading list?
Well our required reading books for school are on my list (Freedom Summer by Deborah Wiles and The Adventure of Sherlock Holmes). After that due to the fact reading lists and I do not get along what ever calls me in the library whenever I go is what I’ll be picking up :D.
    2. Are the books for school, pleasure, or both?
Both! The two school ones and then tons and TONS of pleasure books.
    3. Have you read the book(s) before or will this be the first time?
I plan on rereading Gallagher Girls and City of Bones( and all of the other mortal instrument books)/ The Infernal devices afterwards it depends since I don’t really have a reading list just whatever I choose.
    4. Any books that are also movies?
Well City of Bones is becoming a movie in August (EEEEEEP!)
    5. What book are you most looking forward to reading?
What do you think? United We Spy of course!

    1. What is on your summer reading list?
I’m rereading the Kingdom Keeper books (yes I know they’re kind of childish but I love them), Sanditon by Jane Austen (and pretty much any book by Jane Austen) Les Misérables, and others that I can’t think of =)

    2. Are the books for school, pleasure, or both?
pleasure. I don’t know the books we have to read for school but I doubt I’ll like them. I rarely do =(

    3. Have you read the book(s) before or will this be the first time?
I’ve read Kingdom Keepers before, but not Sanditon or Les Mis.

    4. Any books that are also movies?
Les Mis, and that’s it unless you count the Jane Austen Book club =)

    5. What book are you most looking forward to reading?
Les Mis! The movie and the play are my favorites and I’m excited to get more in-depth descriptions of the characters!

So many books, both the Percy Jackson series as well as the Heroes of Olympus, Peter Pan, Robinson Crusoe, Sherlock Holmes, and so many more.

Both, definitely both. Although most books I read for school I like so it is pleasure.

Have read a lot of the above before, but it was a few years ago.

Yes! Percy Jackson, Peter Pan, and a few others!

    Sherlock Holmes!

1.I don’t have a summer reading list I have a minor problem with self control I tend to read every book I come across and then re-read my favorites over and over again, I’ll probably re-read Percy Jackson, Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia, Heist Society, Gallagher Girls, I was really serious about that minor problem 🙂
    2. Majorly for pleasure my schoolwork is all done (YES!!)
    3. Well re-reading and new reading, whatever I can lay my hands on pretty much
    4. Lots of them but some that really need movies like Gallagher Girls and Heist Society
    5. Gallagher Girls 6- United We Spy of course!!!

    1. Blood Prophecy, Withering Tights (and possibly its sequel), Love and Other Things I’m Bad At, Going Too Far, The Thing About the Truth, The Truth About Forever, Someone Like You, Infinity, Flirting With Boys, The Year Nick McGowan Came to Stay, City of Bones series, Divergent series, a few manga series, and reread the GG series before United We Spy comes out.

    2. Just pleasure reading!

    3. Aside from the GG series I will have read all of them for the first time.

    4. I don’t think so but I heard that Divergent was becoming a movie? Idk. Not completely sure about that.

    5. United We Spy obviously!!! and Blood prophecy since its the final book of this other series that I started reading last year, but UWS is deffs the #1 to read book!

    I’m going to read:
    The Hobbit
    The Lord Of The Rings
    Partials
    Prodigy
For school I have to read The Great Escape by Dickens-wish me luck understanding that one.
The Lord Of The Rings was actually recommended to me by my dad. Happy reading

    2. Just out of pleasure : )
    3. I’ve read all these series ( each and every book, except for United We Spy) at least once before
    4. Percy Jackson, but if GG or Heist ever get their movie debut, they will be added to the list
    5. United We Spy, even if its not Summer, its the book that I am most looking forward to.
