Magnificent Monday Heist Music

March 18, 2013 by Shellie 143 Comments

Hi Everyone!

It is spring break around here and Ally is in Florida! Are any of you taking any fun trips for spring break?

I thought instead of a heist mission this week I would do something else fun. How about we put together a playlist for Kat’s next heist?!?!

So, what I need from you is your favorite song while pulling a heist! Just leave it in the comments section and next week I will post a playlist based on your recommendations!

Happy Spring Break Everyone!!!

xoxo

Shellie

P.S. Where do you think Kat would spend her spring break?

P.S.S. Even though everyone is off having fun I will still post Fan Art Friday so send in your artwork to [email protected]!

I think it could apply to the sort of mindset you’d have to have to pull off a heist. Look up the lyrics. 🙂

Smooth Criminal by our dear, departed Micheal Jackson.
    You and Me by Parachute.
And if Kat goes to Cannes for Christmas, then it’s most definitely Egypt for Easter

This is the song lyrics. I love it and i hope you enjoy it too.

All the rowboats in the paintings
They keep trying to row away
      And the captains’ worried faces
Stay contorted and staring at the waves
They’ll keep hanging in their gold frames
For forever, forever and a day
All the rowboats in the oil paintings
They keep trying to row away, row away

Hear them whispering French and German
      Dutch, Italian, and Latin
When no one’s looking I catch a sculpture marble,
      Cold, and soft as satin
But the most special are the most lonely
      God, I pity the violins
In glass coffins they keep coughing
They’ve forgotten, forgotten how to sing, how to sing

First there’s lights out, then there’s lock up
      Masterpieces serving maximum sentences
It’s their own fault for being timeless
There’s a price you pay and a consequence
      All the galleries, the museums
Here’s your ticket, welcome to the tombs
      They’re just public mausoleums
The living dead fill every room
But the most special are the most lonely
      God, I pity the violins
In glass coffins they keep coughing
They’ve forgotten, forgotten how to sing

They will stay there in their gold frames
For forever, forever and a day
All the rowboats in the oil paintings
They keep trying to row away, row away

First there’s lights out, then there’s lock up
      Masterpieces serving maximum sentences
It’s their own fault for being timeless
There’s a price you pay and a consequence
      All the galleries, the museums
They will stay there forever and a day
All the rowboats in the oil paintings
They keep trying to row away, row away
All the rowboats in the oil paintings
They keep trying to row away, row away

Everyone is saying Change by Taylor Swift an I disagree. It would be Mean by Taylor Swift, especially in the first one when Kat is talking with whats-his-face (the big mean guy?? What’s his name?) In the limo. And in the 2nd one after she realized that Maggie conned her. And the 3ed one when she’s talking to that lawyer guy. Plus also, I love Taylor Swift.
