Hi Everybody!
I’m back from the utterly fantastic Austin Teen Book Festival. Huge thanks to the volunteers, staff, teens, teachers, and librarians that made for an awesome weekend!
And, as always, I got a lot of awesome questions, so I thought I’d answer a few of them here.

I’m afraid I can’t follow all of you because (and I’m grateful for this every day) there are so many of you! I do read all of my @replies as well as every blog comment posted here.
WHERE AND WHEN ARE YOU GOING ON TOUR NEXT?
I don’t know where yet (that is established by my publisher–I won’t know until a few weeks before I go), but I do know it will probably be about the time PERFECT SCOUNDRELS is released. I wish I could visit every city, but I’m afraid if I did that then I’d never get any more writing done. And I think we all want more books!
DOES YOUR HAND HURT?
I get this one a lot when I’m signing. Thankfully, no. My hand usually holds up pretty well. My back and shoulders are always sore after hunching over a table signing for a couple of hours. It always feels good to stand up!
ARE YOU EXCITED ABOUT FALL TV STARTING UP?
Yes! I just watched the first episode back of Revenge (so good!), and I’m seen a few of the new shows (so far Last Resort is my favorite). And I really am excited about it. I just love TV so much.
WHEN WILL GG6 BE OUT?
Don’t know yet.
WHAT WILL IT BE CALLED?
Don’t know yet.
WHAT WILL THE COVER LOOK LIKE?

WHAT DO YOU KNOW?
Uh…sadly, not much.
I HEAR GEORGE CLOONEY IS CURRENTLY IN OKLAHOMA. HE’S THERE SEEING YOU, ISN’T HE?
Well, the official story is that he’s filming a movie, but I think we can all guess the truth.
WILL WE FIND OUT HALE’S FIRST NAME IN PERFECT SCOUNDRELS?
Well, you find out what his family calls him and, if you ask me, it’s even BETTER!

October 10, 2012 at 10:30 pmDo you have any suggestions/tips for writers? Do you ever wright two stories at the same time? Did you always know that you were going to be an author? Is it bad if I really really really want to be a Gallagher Girl?(cause I really really really want to be a Gallagher girl and a spy) Have you ever thought about/ who Zach’s dad is? If so, who is he? How do you come up with your characters? How long have you been writing for? Do you ever think and worry that your readers will not like the book? (I love the whole series gg) How do you come up with your character’s names? How do you make sure that your reader will stay interested in the book? What is your favorite part in each book from the Gallagher Girl series? When you make a ruff draft do you make paragraphs? How do you decide where to split your work? If you could be one of the Gallagher Girls which would you be? I would be Cammie she is awesome! I love her!
You know the clip/movie thing for the 5th book in the gg series, is it going to be a movie? Are you ever annoyed because one of your favorite books was made into a movie and they are completely different? Who are your favorite authors?
Sorry if I have a lot of questions, I am just really curious, i guess.

October 13, 2012 at 1:30 pmOkay they have been friends for a long time. Kat afraid if they date things might get complicated, Then nick shows up and make Hale jealous. So they are kinda together but they don’t it yet! hope that helped!

Before, my favorite book was Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead-I think it was the best book I have ever read, until my scout friend let me borrow a book from her titled “Gallagher Girls”! right from the first book, Gallagher Girls catches already my taste in books!
PLEASE let the “extreme effect” not be Zach .PLEASE. I so wanted Cammie and Zach be together.
Will they be together??? Yes???No???

December 10, 2012 at 9:58 pmOh wow, haven’t been here a while (horrible teacher bogging up every second of my pitiful 9th grade existence with mass amounts of assignments). Snow days are da Bomb diddy! (Even I rolled my eyes as I said that). I have a question, though. How do you make seemingly cheesy (and I’m talking total cheese flavored nachos topped with cheese, smothered in cheese sauce, smashed into a rind of cheese kind of cheesy. Not just a sprinkle of cheese) plots and/or characters…not? Maybe I’m the single most unimaginative person out there, but whenever I get a plot, I feel like it’s either super stupidly cheesy, or too elaborate and downright cliche.

It would be so amazing if you could extend the series to 10 books! haha am I too ambitious?! haha anyway I hope there will be more books to follow the espionage series ^___^
