Some updates

Hi everybody!

Thanks to all of you who have commented in the past few weeks about some of the things you’d like to see added to the site, and we have listened!

First, if you haven’t already noticed, we’ve added some new fun features to the sidebar here at the blog.

We have a new way to count down to the release of Perfect Scoundrels!  If you have a blog, tumblr, or other web presence, please feel free to use it yourself!  The “share” button on the bottom is for exactly that purpose.

We’ve also added some polls to the sidebar.  So far, there are two, but we will change those out frequently just to let you all voice your opinions on all kinds of fun things, so keep an eye out for that.

The next thing that I think you will all be VERY excited about is…

DELETED SCENES!

That’s right.  There is now a “Deleted Scenes” section under each and every book (except the still unpublished Heist Society 3).  Some of those scenes have been posted on the blog before, but some are brand new.  Be sure and check them out and, remember, they are unedited and unpublished (for a reason).

And, finally, you guys all seem to want more contests, quizzes, games, etc.  We are working on all of those and, hopefully, will have some progress to report shortly.

  7. Deleted scenes sound interesting, and the polls are fun. Thanks! I emailed someone listed on your publisher’s website to see if I could schedule an interview with you while at the Austin Teen Book Festival on Sept 29. I don’t know if I emailed the right person. Let me know if you’d be interested in a quick 5 min. interview. I look forward to at least meeting you in the book signing line. 🙂

    • I’m sorry to change my plans, but I’ve decided not to do author interviews at the ATB festival. I’m scaling back the amount of time I spend on my blog. I’ll still be at the festival and can’t wait to meet you!

  18. YUS! Bring on the deleted scenes and by the way LOVING the Perfect Scoundrels countdown! Oh,also, I have a question for you girls:

    Do you think I should read Uncommon Criminals? Why or Why not? Please answer because I am not so sure about it. 🙂 Thanks

    • I think you should read UNCOMMON CRIMINALS only if you have read HEIST SOCIETY first. If you have, then YES! It’s filled with curses, action, adventure, suspense, and (of course) romance. It keeps going at a really good pace, making it impossible to put down until you’ve finished. Trust me, you will NOT regret reading it. 😀

  19. Holy cats! Ally, do you have ANY idea how amazingly wonderful you are? Deleted scenes from EVERY book? OH. MY. GOSH. I couldn’t stop reading them. I couldn’t stop reading them out loud to my brother (I’m sorry to say, I don’t think I’ve recruited another Gallagher Girls and Heist Society fan). Thank you so, so, SO much, Ally. Especially for sharing the scene where Dillon decks Zach – I think I might have cried a little bit while reading that. Thank you!!!!!

  30. One more tiny thing: If at all possible, and I will completely understand if you’re too busy writing pure awesomeness for us to read that you can’t but please………write short stories……..from Hale’s POV. Please?

  34. okay ally way out of the question i know you say you dont know if you will make your GG books in to a movie or movies but one thing i really really really want to know ally is have you recived any offers from any companys i just really want to know? i know how it is a very hard thing to do but i am just curious!!!
