Hi gang,
A lot of you have been asking about the scenes I mentioned in the post on my process–which scenes I didn’t set out to write but are now among my favorites.
(MINOR SPOILERS MAY FOLLOW)
In Heist Society, it was the scene where Kat first goes to see Mr. Stein. I didn’t even know there WAS a Mr. Stein until Kat knocked on his door.
In GG3 it is the very short scene at the very end of the book when Cam is sleeping on the couch in Rachel’s office hears and sees all the reactions to what has just happened.
In GG5 it is the scene where Cam goes to the roof. (no. I didn’t even know THAT was going to happen. Although, I did know most of the big twists from the start.)
have fun,
Ally
She didn’t even know Cammie was going to walk off….wow. Now that’s the plot twist, OF the plot twist.
0.0 Inception Gallagher Girls style
what else to you expect from elite spies in training? 🙂
I love in gg3 when she was talking about Mr.Solomon crying.
ikr! He’s so strong and powerful and manly!!! That shows that he has a soft side and can really be a caring and supportive individual!!! Ilove mr. solomon… 😉
Haha that’s funny!
the roof scene is my favorite part too! The 5th book is my favorite book by far.
Totally!
Mine too! At first I was a little confused about what was going on, though lol
Mine too it was by far the best. I like how ppl say books get worse when theres a series but ally her books just keep getting better. I can’t wait until gg6 I am going to be so sad. I expect some kind of betrayal or something. And I LOVE ZACH HE Is AMAZING! CAMMIE TOO.
Yes I totally agree! The fifth book is so much better! I started crying during the roof scene! I wish Zach was a real person because I would be the happiest girl in the world! Gallagher Academy should be real so I can go and be a spy:)
Wow! that is amazing i would have never thought that some of the best sceenes that she has written just came to her.
I know those are all of my favorite scenes 🙂
Yeah the scene on the room was so good. Except I was clutching clutching my book and crying and saying “No, no, no Cammie!” I was basically a wreck and then I got through it. Most intense scene ever!
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh me too i thought she was gonna jump and i was freakin out !!!!!!( i also cried quite a few times in heist and gallagher… so ur not the only 1:))
haha i meant to repl to this comment, but that was a MAJOR twist, i totally didnt expect it, and when i was reading it i was freaking out and thinking ‘ cammy cant kill herself right? shes the main character! right? RIGHT?!’ ha freak out mode over :/
OMg ik !! I was like is Cammie actually going to do this !?!? she cant do this!! and i was literally like wheres Zach, he’s gotta come save this chick. lol but i was freaking out at that part too !
Yes! I was like ‘ no she cant die! no no no no no!’ my parents actually started yelling at me because i was screaming and crying on the couch while i read it! I was thinking ‘ if she dies, theres no more gallagher girls!’ i was so upset!
the gg3 scene is my favorite of all of ally’s books
The roof scene was one of my favorite parts in the book!!!! All the others were when zach was in them 🙂
I loved that roof sceence part i was reading it in school and it was time to stop and i kept reading and then i got my book taken waway till the end of class but at least i finished that part!!!
*in GG5
I was bawling my eyes out during the roof scene! I was so scared!!!
I liked the second book best! It I traduced Zach!
Introduces not I traduced
I love the scene with Mr. Stein too! The thing about only drinking hot chocolate with snow in it made me wish we had more snow that year 🙂
I can’t believe that the best part of GG5 just came to you! I wish I had that amazing writing skill that you possess when I have to write papers!
:O I love all those scenes!!!! It goes to show that some of the most unexpected are the greatest.
Reading those things made me realized I really need to re read the gg book for like the 4th time
Omigosh I loooooooooooooved the roof scene! My eyes never left the page when I was reading it. MGG5 was DEFINENTLY my favorite so far! can’t wait till GG6 🙂
Totally! I agree with you Mo on every point. Love the roof scene!
That is amazing. It’s so cool whe nyou go into something expecting one thing only to discover an entirely different thing waiting on the other side!(: It’s one of my favorite feelings<3
thats interesting, lol cool
The roof scene was almost chilling…It was really scary and kinda creepy for me, but most of all it was sad. I think I remember crying…Haha! I loved it! <3
Mg tht was like my exact reaction!!! It was intense, and unlike in other books where u kno what’s gonna happen, that was SO unexpected! Thanx for the suspense ally! 🙂
OMG the roof scene was deffinitely a shocker. I was crying SO much!!!! My entire family was looking at me like I was mad!!!
I looooooved the roof scene! I was clawing through the book and screaming!! Also, does anyone know if there will be more deleted scenes added to the feature every once in a while?
Hi, I know yo get asked this a lot. But, I really want to write about bad guys and I have a general idea on what it should be about but have no idea how to start. Any tips? Just email me. Thanks so much!
Try brainstorming your ideas on paper. You can watch movies and read books of the same genre for ideas. Create a plot outline (you don’t have to, I usually don’t, but it’s a big help for when you get stuck). Make some credible villains and believable, likable protagonists. I know a few links to websites that might help you (they’ve helped me a lot), but it’s nearly impossible to go back to them to copy and paste without my reply disappearing. Here’s one, for starters:

I hope that helps.

P.S. Good luck writing! 🙂
Hi ally so I was getting in a disagreement with a follow fan about the color of Bex skin. She believed that it was very light brown, almost white because that is the color of a cappuccino (the coffee) I said that no she had darkness to her skin. So how dark is her skin color? Is is light light brown on dark brown?
Thank you so much! And the deleted scenes kind of made my day!
Ky
I always imagined it to be dark, too. That’s a good question.
kewl that sounds like something I would do lolz I write small stories but I don’t even know some of the stuff I’m going to write until i write it! 🙂
I was just wondering if there was going to be a GG 6?
Yes, there will be a GG6. She’s working on it now.
I love books 2, 3, 4, because…..
2- ZACH IS IN IT
3- I KINDA LIKED PRESTON’S CHARACTER AND I READ IT ON MY WAY TO D.C
4- ZACH HAD MORE OF A PART
Can’t wait for number Six!!!!!!! 🙂
I love, love, LOVE when Mr. Solomon wakes up. Any moment with Mr. Solomon in general is my favorite. I’ll admit, at first I was suspicious of him in the first book, but when he and Rachel were having fun at that dance, I converted to a Mr. Solomon lover. The one thing I’d like to see in the future would be more Mr. Solomon and Cammie moments. I think they would have a great ‘father-daughter’ type dynamic going on.
