Hello, everyone!

I’m sorry if it’s been quieter than usual around here.  There has been a lot going on, none of which is in itself particularly blogable.

Like my washing machine broke.

My taxes were due.

I’ve been doing a lot of reading for a new project I can’t talk about yet.

Allergy season finally caught up with me and I’ve been coughing and sneezing my head off.

Heist 3 was due.

Heist 3 still needs a title.

Heist 3 is kicking my butt.

So, you know…the usual.

But there has been one huge, exciting change over the past few months.  And that has been the process of turning this…

 

into THIS:

Oh yeah, I BUILT A POOL!

As many of you know, I have been wanting to do this for a long time, and last fall I finally took the proverbial plunge.  I’m super excited to finally be able to use it in a few weeks.  Also, I’m super grateful to be able to have such a luxury at such a time.

I hope all of you are doing well, and I promise to try not to go so long between updates next time.

    • I would just like to thank ally for being the coolest author in the world because she makes us all feel so involved in all of the process and thank her for writting the amazing books that we all love . oh and to all the australians out there reading this reply. 🙂

      • Its not district 11 soulute, it is for all of the districts. It means good bye to some one you love. All the districts use this, but she does it to district eleven to say goodbye to rue.

  14. OMG i used to have a pool but then it broke!!! 🙁 So we took it out And Now My Mom really really wants another one!!! I am so happy for you!!! Have A great swim when u can and have a pool party and invite me!!! ( JK its okay if you dont invite me but not kidding about the pool party!!!) Cant wait Till GG6!!!

  19. I wish I could sympathize with you about the whole allergy thing. No clue what it feels like though. I don’t sneeze I just dislocate my shoulder. (Happens about 1-2 times a week.) NOT KIDDING. 🙁
    You should know by now that no matter how bad you think drafts are kicking your but when you write them that we always love them. 🙂 <3

    p.s. This has nothing to do with anything important but I got an A- on my fictional narrative for English. I know some people would be happy about that but I really pride myself on my english grade.

    So, when’s the pool party?
    G’luck with all that stuff, and I hope the blog’s ‘quiet phase’ will end soon!
    …but if you need the time for writing the epicness of your novels, by all means, ignore the site.

    • Ick I have had allergies and sickness since December 🙁 They ended for about a week and a half and started up again! But we all know we have to live past them… Good luck with title for HS3 I’m sure you’ll come up with something amazing as you do!!!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂

  39. if I had a pool in my garden it wouldn’t be a pool, it would just be ice! English weather SUCKS! indoor pools are my thing 😉 but I don’t have a pool, so I’m quite bummed.
    BUT ALLY! YOUR POOL IS SO PRETTY! can I fly over to America and have a pool party with you?? haha 🙂 xx

  44. That pool is sooooo pretty Ally! And yeah, allergies have caught up with me too. My nose always seems itchy. I hope you feel better. I can’t wait to hear about your new project!! And I’m sure you will do fine with hs3! We already love you so no need to stress

    I am Iona and I really like your Gallagher girls books they are so good and I hope u write lots and lots of them and Zach sounds cute. I was just caking if they will be made into films because I think they should xxxx
