So many things to buy…so little time.
–A new (bigger) suitcase. (I have a great overnight bag. I have a superb 3 day bag. But now–with the vacation looming–I find myself needing a week-long bag.)
–One of those super cheap, super light laptops (But I really only need this IF I go on tour* because mine is mega heavy)
–A good pair of jeans (are there cute, flattering jeans in the world? I’m not sure. I’ve never owned a pair. I’ve surveyed a number of different women who have completely different body types and THEY have never had a pair. So one has to wonder…)
–A new tote bag that is both cute and stain/scratch resistant. And zippable! (Why people make bags that don’t zip I will never know!)
–Dining room table. (Yes, I still have a card table in my dining room. I’m not proud of that fact but it is a fact none-the-less.)
–A haircut. (This isn’t technically a thing that needs to be purchased but is instead a service that needs to be rendered. But I need one just the same!)
–A copy of THE GRAVEYARD BOOK by Neil Gaiman (but since the Newbery madness it’s been sold out)
And that’s it. Those are the things I’m needing/wanting these days!

* The tour is anything but a sure-thing. Nothing is scheduled. Nothing is planned. All that I know at the moment is that there has been talk of me touring sometime in the next year. If you’d like to request that I come to a city near you, then please make your request here.

(Please note that it’s too cumbersome to pass on pleas and requests made in the comments section, so only requests sent through this site will be shared with my publicists.)
Oh, and you can also talk to your local bookstore. Bookstores are almost always involved in deciding where an author visits, so that’s a great way to be heard as well.
