Has anyone tried the new Three Musketeers Mint mini candy bars? They may be my new favorite thing.
I’ve been busy all morning cleaning house… Because my house cleaners come today. Can someone please explain the logic of this to me again?
I read the first of the three stories in the new Maureen Johnson, John Green, and Lauren Myracle holiday book, LET IT SNOW, last night. Yes, I know the holidays are over. But Maureen Johnson still had me laughing out loud.
I think the Obama girls might be the cutest girls. Ever. Maybe it’s just me but the oldest is simply a mini-Bex in every way. Except not British.
I still don’t know how to work my fireplace. Because gas scares me, okay?
The heist book is almost finished. And it almost has a title. I can’t wait to share details in a few days (or maybe weeks).
The American Library Association’s Midwinter conference is going to kick off soon. That’s where they decide who will win prestigious awards like the Newbery and the Printz. Of course, I won’t be winning any awards (and that’s perfectly okay) but that doesn’t mean I’m not very curious about what will.
I am having recycling difficulties these days. You see, I cannot determine a pattern of when the truck comes. Sometimes it comes really early in the morning. Sometimes it’s after dark. Sometimes (I swear) it skips my house entirely. This is a source of some concern (and a big, honking pile of things that need recycled!)
I actually booked tickets last week for a vacation. I know! An actual VACATION! Except…well…I’m actually going with a bunch of other writers to a place that I have to go for research and I’m going to try to work a lot while I’m there. But I’m calling it a vacation! Because that helps.
I’m very, very ready to do some things to my house. What things exactly I’m not sure. But some things.
But before I can do anything I really need to get back to work!
