The exorcism. In pictures.

July 5, 2008 by Ally Carter Leave a Comment

It started with me cleaning out most of my kitchen cabinets.

And then the guys had to come and cut out the evil brace thing that served no purpose other than to make me miserable.

This, as you can imagine, required very sharp tools. And dust. Lots and lots of dust.

But then we started seeing some progress…

Like my new pull-out cookie sheet holder and trash can!

And now, of course, I finally have a pantry!

Sure, it’s an incredibly shallow pantry, but I have to admit I sort of love it. Nothing ever gets lost in the back of the cabinet!

Plus, there’s a place for the Baked Lays to go~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And, finally, my favorite feature, pull-out shelves for the one big lower cabinet. Yay!

I literally fit about twice as much stuff in there now that there are two full (pull out) shelves and no evil bar cutting the doorway in half!

So even though we’re still not totally finished, I must say that this has probably been worth my time and money.

It’s still not the custom kitchen of my dreams…

But it’s a start.

(and, yes, those flowers are from the zinnias that I started from seeds a few months ago. I told you zinnias were the one flower I could grow.)
