Greetings from Hollywood!Hello everybody! I write to you tonight from beautiful Beverly Hills where I am getting ready to order room service and trying hard not to look like Ellie May Clampet. Today was very fun, starting with a nice meet-and-greet with the fab folks at Di Novi Pictures who, as you'll remember, recently optioned Heist Society for film. I've spoken with the team there on the phone before, but this was my first chance to see the office and meet people face-to-face. Shauna Cross, Heist's awesome screenwriter, was also able to join us and afterwards we went to a GEORGOUS hotel right on the ocean for lunch and a little surf-gazing. So, so beautiful. Of course, Heist Society is just OPTIONED at this point, meaning that they aren't "making it into a movie" at the moment. They aren't casting or shooting or even talking to talent. What they're doing right now is working on the script and getting their ducks in a row in case the stars ever align and Warner Brothers does decide to put it into production. We're a long, long way from there, but nevertheless it was wonderful to finally put some faces behind the names and spend a little time getting to know these very smart, savvy women who love Kat and Hale and the crew as much as you and I do. Now I've got to order that room service and get cranking on Heist Society 2. Don't forget if you live in the area that I'll be at the Barnes and Noble in Glendale tomorrow night with Melissa de la Cruz and at the world-famous Vroman's the day after (also with Mel). I hope heist society is maked into a movie. But (just my opinion) I think if the gallagher girl series were made into a movie instead i would do anything to watch it. Although if every great book was made into a movie tan what would be left? I really want heist society to be made into a movie. Thumbs up :D:) :D B)

I can't wait for the 28th!!!! I have a question by the way. Are the copies of only the good spy young at literacy for life going $19.98 or will they be a more reasonable price? Because I only have $14, ad I REALLY want a copy of only the good spy young that's signed by you!
hey ally! i love heist society and all and i know hard your working. And im really sorry that im so impatient, but i red the series when it first came out, but i wasnt obsessed with it for too long. But now for about 4 days i've been re-reading the series ( im sorry to say that i don't like the first one as much because it doesnt have zach in it, but good never the less) and im really obsessed so i've been staring at the ceiling thinking about what could be in gg5.....is it in the future ? are you planning on it?
I've read about the whole age up thing if they do make it a movie but why not just animate it then you could still have all the older stars and stuff??? either way it will totally make one of the best movies ever!!!

not to be johnny raincloud, but the whole point of kat and her team (in heist society one) escaping from the henley is BECAUSE they are teenagers/ "kids"....if they are older in the movie....then, how will that work...????

I'm absolutely ecstatic about Gallagher Girls 5, and to think there will be a second Heist Society is almost just as exciting! I think you're brilliant, thank you so much for being such a good writer. I've read all of the GG books and Heist Society literally about 5 times each. I'm definitely your biggest fan.

OMG!!!! I just finished Heist Society a few days ago and it was AMAZING!!!!! I am so glad to hear that there will be a second HS. I absolutely CANNOT WAIT for it to come out. Just a quick question: How many HS books do you plan on writing, Ally? I'm also very excited to read GG4. I have it on hold at my library but they don't even have it in stock yet! This could take longer to get than I like... :P
