Big blog of random (the GG4 Tour Edition)Greetings from the road! The GG4 tour is now in full swing, and I'd like to thank everyone who came out to the B&N in Glendale last night for a wonderful event! It was so great to meet all of you AND hang out with overall awesome lady Melissa de la Cruz. Did you miss us last night? Well, never fear! There's going to be a repeat performance at Vroman's in Pasadena this afternoon at 4:00. Come! Come! (That's an order!) In other news... --I used to be too cheap to order hotel room service, but considering I now know the breakfast delivery guy by name, I think we can officially say I'm over that. --I used to be uncomfortable with valets (for reasons I don't know), I'm hoping I'm over that too since this town is all valet, all the time. --It's cold here. --Everyone keeps saying it's hot. --These people obviously don't know what hot is. --Despite being like 80% mirror there is not a single good place in this hotel room to apply mascara. --I HAVE to have mascara. --One of these days I'm going to figure out why people keep asking about getting roles in the LYKY movie even though 1. I have stated about 9 billion times that there currently is no LYKY movie in the works and 2. I've also tried to make it really, really clear that authors have no role in the movie casting process. --I'm really wishing I hadn't forgotten my pajamma pants. (not that I can't sleep in my gym shorts. It's just chilly sometimes in hotel rooms. Plus, nothing says happiness like pajammas.) --So far this tour I've only had pop twice and peanut M&Ms once. I consider this the greatest diet achievement of my life. --My college roommate who now lives in Denver just called to say she's setting up manicure appointments for us for when I get there (the city after San Francisco which is where I go next) --Having friends along the tour route makes tour SO much more fun! --Having great READERS along the tour route is the best thing of all!

I know just what you mean! I live in Hawaii and hav lived my whole life, so it was definately NOT hot in California, at night, where it was like -100 degrees, and all I had was a thin sweater. NOT hot at ALL. Anyways, hopeyou're havingth superest most "coolest" tim ever!

urrrgggh! i was so happy when my dad was going to DC for the week that GG4 came out. I wanted so badly for him pick me up a signed copy, but sadly, he had work to do and was unable to buy one...=/ although i would have enjoyed a signed version slightly more than unsigned, it was awesome. I'm a little worried that you will not be able to top it with GG5 =) luv u Ally! i cant wait to fall in love with Cammie and Zach's story, all over again.
I wish I could see you on at least ONE of your tours!!!:'(.But I know what you mean.Having a best freind with you makes everything funner.

Heyy Ally! I'm coming to Disney fro your Orlando part of your tour! Tomorrow I'm getting GG4 (and hopefully GG1 and GG3) for you to sign, (I already own GG2) and then I'm going to print the bookmarks I made (http://i967.photobucket.com/albums/ae158/stapi/AllGGBookmarks.png) and give those to you! Hopefully you won't think I'm crazy... but I just wanted to show them to you, and see if you think they're good, and give them to you, so that I hope that you remember me as one of your fans!

omg. ok the ting is that whenever zammie has an akward moment in any of the books (yeah i'm so obsessed that i'm reading them over and over and over...) i practically doub;le over in laughter. so happy you'll be coming home soon to swwet old oklohama. ok peace!

I totally love your books..!! They're the best..but i kept wondering who is Cammie going to end up with?? i mean.. Josh is the-perfect-guy-slash-the-sweetest-guy-and-he's-everythin-that-Cammie-wants but they haven't seen each other in a long while... on the other hand...Zach is cute and all..but Cammie doesnt have the same feeling she has for Josh..but he always pop up in her life along the books....so who is Cammie going to end up with and is Josh still exist in GG series???? -sorry i dont know where to ask you this question...hope u read it... can u plz answer it.. my email > apple_bear96@yahoo.com > thx..

heyy girl!! you're books are so awesome! I'm writing my own book now and I'm pretty sure that you were my inspiration. GG1 was definitely my favorite book! i immediately fell in love with Josh and Cammie, too. she's so rambunctious and everything! i swear, i must have read the book at least eight times or so. by the way, have you ever thought of starting a clothing line involving GG? like a uniform with the skull and crossbones like on the covers of the GG books or clothes that make people automatically think Cammie or bex or liz or macey? especially macey; she always seemed super stylish. and bex; the goddess looking girl with clothes that hug every curve. or liz; clothes that say smart yet sylish and prepared. you could even do one for guys with fashionable yet clean cut clothes like josh. or edger stuff for guys like Zach. i wish Josh would come back into the story though.
wanna know what would be super cool? if Cammie found her dad, alive!!
keep on writing, Ally, i can't wait to read GG5!
