And I’m in love with Rick Riordan’s Heroes of Olympus! I have way more series but I don’t think I can list them all.

    • Sabrina H. says:

The Maze Runner is so good! I heard something about a movie coming out for it too! I don’t know any information about it, but I saw something for it!

  9. I just read the Infernal Devices (Clockwork Angel, etc.) series by Cassandra Clare, which is like a prequel series to the Mortal Instruments. I don’t want to read anything else yet because I’m still thinking about them! They are SOOO good!

  10. I cant wait for the Divergent premier which comes out near my birthday. The One should be a good end to a great series. I want to start The Kiss by James Patterson. Need to read Curtsies and Conpsiracies and also the Wizard Heir. I also really need to start The Rangers Apprentice book 3

    The Hunger Games trilogy

At the moment I’m reading The Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices and I love them!

I have a massive book list of books that I want to read, too many to type!!

  13. Books I love : The Season – SarahMaclean ; All my GGs ; I’m currently collecting the PercyJackson books (both series). 2 books to go (and the last one, of course) and with my birthday coming up at the end of the month, I’ll probably (hopefully!) get them.
Books I plan to read : Anything I can get my hands on 😉 But especially: the Veronica Roth books I keep hearing about. The first one is actually on hold for me at the library now, so I’ll start reading those when I’m done with the series I’m on now. I also can’t get the book Mystic City out of my head! I’m dying for the sequel to be released.

  14. Alexandria says:

I love anything by John Green!!

  15. I’m reading Meant to Be by Lauren Morrill…….I really like it. It’s a great YA love story! I would totally recommend it to someone 13 or older.

  16. I am reading The Book Theif. Over break I read the Divergent series, The Program, The Jacky Faber series, and started the Mortal Instrument series. All of these books I highly recommend.

  17. I JUST finished (half an hour ago, seriously!) Graceling by Kristin Cashore, which I got at Barnes and Noble the other day. It was really good!
I have Divergent by Veronica Roth, waiting for me on my bookshelf. I’m so excited to read the books, and for the movie to follow!
Also, Matched, by Ally Condie is another book that is on my bookshelf right now.
I picked up This Lullaby by Sarah Dessen at my favorite used bookstore. I love Sarah Dessen, so I’m super excited about that, even if it isn’t exactly a new book.

These are just the ones I’m looking forward to reading most from my shelf. Trust me, there’s much more than this!
Besides, I’m going to a school book sale next week, so hopefully, I can pick up some more books there!
And, last but not least, today I ordered The Fault In Our Stars by John Green from Amazon. I can’t wait until it gets here!
Ps: I recently read the Ruby Red Trilogy by Kirsten Geir and Time Between Us by Tamara Ireland Stone. Highly recommended! And, of course, if you haven’t already read all of the Hunger Games books, what are you waiting for?!
PPS: Ally’s books are still the best!

  18. Sabina G. says:

Right now I am not reading anything but when I get more time I am going to read the Heist Society because I loved the Gallagher Girl Series and now they are over! So now it is time for the next series!

  19. Your series that u made, obviously, divergent. twilight, city of bones, matched, princess diaries, a girl named digit, and soo many other books I don’t have time or space to write!!! I’m a total book worm. u won’t even be ablt to imagine how big of a bookworm I am!!!

  20. Okay right now I am reading Perfect Scoundrels because I felt like it. I recently finished Princess Diaries, the movie is way better especially the movie doesn’t have too much inappropriate stuff. Sigh it is hard to find good clean YA books. Something that real people can relate to, not everybody in their life are popular or have a cute guy falling heads over heals for this chick who is ugly, really does that ever happen, well maybe to the one percent. Books like Airhead are more relatable ya sure brain transplants in to models is more than unrealistic but you can relate to the main character because the author gives you realistic high school scenes. Even though the Gallagher and heist society series are a little bit unrealistic you can still relate to it and they do not have absurd plots. Plus it is fun to read those series. Okay, okay sorry back from my rant. Anyways I will keep searching for better books. Love your books Ally!

    • Yes!!! danielle.I am not the only one… I have high standards for what I read and it doesn’t involve the usual inappropriateesqueness of most YA books. I am so glad you mentioned that you have a hard time because I do too! I love books like ally’s that keep it clean! Some other authors that I feel do a good job are Jennifer Holm and Ally Condie and Jannette Rallison. They are good books with realistic heroines! Also for me , call me a nerd, but I love classics. For example I am a big fan of the Betsy Tacy books(the high school ones)

  21. Kate Prior says:

Honestly, these are my people. They read all the same series I do! So list of my favorites:

    Mortal Instruments
    Percy Jackson
    Harry Potter
    Heist Society
    Gallagher Girls
    Demon King Series
    Hunger Games

  22. Now I cant wait untill October!!! I dont know what I have been reading. I have been reading Dont Judge A Girl By Her Cover. Im going to read Matched and a book called Beneath The Glitter by Elle and Blarie Fowler.

  23. LissyLouWho says:

That is so cool I can’t wait to read it!! I am reading the Warriors books right now by Erin Hunter and as always rereading Heist and gg!!

  24. I want to read Divergent because all of my friends say that its really good…

But some books I absolutely LOVE (besides any ally carter books 😉 ) are:
-The Healer’s Apprentice–loosely based sleeping beauty in both princess and prince’s points of view <3
-The Merchants Daughter–loosely based Beauty and the Beast in both points of view <3
-The Fairest Beauty– Snow white prince charming <3 <3 <3
-The Captive Maiden–Cinderella and her Prince! <3
All are by Melanie Dickerson and they are placed in medieval times like 1400's and its REALISTIC! you would think that any princess stuff like this would be really fake but no… <3 I absolutely love all of it 😀
My life is complete with medieval-ness romance and spies!

  25. I have just read Matthew Reilly’s new book ‘the tournament’ which is a great book and im halfway reading Alligent the last book in the Divgent book series. which seems like so many poeple are reading. at the end of this month Brigid kemmerer nes book Secert is out so looking out for that one. Also have to read two books for Year 11 English, Heart of darkness and the Beach.

  26. Team Zach! says:

I’ve been in a slump lately cause a. I havent had much time to read (which is dreadful) and b. all my favorite series are over or ive already read them. Hunger Games, Harry Potter, Divergent, Percy Jackson, and of course Gallagher girls! But im almost done with the newest heroes of Olympus book. i really am liking reboot by amy tintera and next on my list is a long line of things such as illuminate, doomed, and the mortal instruments series

  27. I enjoyed reading The Pale Assasin and The Traitor’s Smile by Patricia Elliot and To Catch A Pirate by Jade Parker. They are all really good books.

    • I read The Pale Assasin, too! It was really good! I want to read the second one…I just need to get my hands on it!
To Catch A Pirate….I think that is on my goodreads to-read list! Now that I know it’s really good, I’ll have to get it!

    The Mortal Instruments

Grey Wolves (Soo amazing, must read!)
Unfortunate Fairy Tales (Great modern twist to Grimms fairytales)

  30. Sabrina H. says:

The Gallagher Girls will forever be my favorite series, nothing can replace those books for me.
The Heist Society books are (thankfully) still coming so I look foward to reading all that will come!
Sarah Dessen’s books are definitely up there on my list as well, especially The Truth About Forever and This Lullaby 🙂

I am currently reading Divergent and I am in love with it right now!!
I just read a book called Also Known As (can’t remember the author though 🙁 ) but it’s another spy book and it’s story is so cute! I can’t wait to read the sequel!
I plan on reading The Fault in our Stars as well as other John Green books
and I cheated and saw the movie for The Mortal instruments before the books, but I really liked it so I really want to read the series as well!

I can’t wait to read all of these books and I’ll have to find more to distract myself with before Embassy Row comes out!!!
Thanks for all the posts Shellie! 🙂
