Kat had to wonder for a minute what that would feel like–homework and uniforms, walks home with nice boys offering to carry your bag. That was her life once. Almost. But Hale had gotten her kicked out of Colgan School, pulled her back into her own world, just like now he’d been pulled back into his.
“So why are you here, Kat?” Nick asked.
“Maybe I was craving waffles.”
“Kat…” He let her name draw out. “I’m pretty sure this is the part where you tell me you need my help to steal an emerald.” He laughed. “Or rob the Henley…”
Kat’s face stayed blank, but something in her eyes must have shifted, because Nick tensed,
“No.” It was like he’d read her mind, because he was already shaking his head, saying, “No. No. No.”

Wow, finally the waiting is over – I preordered “Perfect Scoundrels” yesterday and I’m longing to start reading it! I also read “Double Crossed” yesterday and of course it was very, very good. It was great to meet Kat and Hale again, and the othters too! You’re the best, Ally!

Wow! That is an awesome excerpt of coarse now I want more! I can’t wait to read the book. I have so many questions now just from that excerpt like- where is Kat and why does she need Nick’s help? Where is the rest of her team (the family) what kind of life is Nick living now? And of coarse the million dollar question where is Hale and what is going on with him and his family?

i walked into my school library today and the librarian was so excited to tell me that she got a new ally carter book because she knows i love ally and i go to see it and its Uncommon Criminals which i’ve already read but i checked it out anyway because she was so excited about it. plus it never hurts to read it again.
and i cant wait for the new heist!!!! EEEEEEKKKKKKKK!!!!! and also nicks mom must be totally oblivious that hes running around robbing museums and stealing jewels. talk about bad parenting

*wipes tears* Why couldn’t it be pancakes? Or bacon? I was able to purchase the second book of the Heist Society series, and I’m really hoping I have a chance of getting Perfect Scoundrels. I allowed my older sister to read the first thirty pages of Uncommon Criminals, and she thinks the book progresses slowly. The book so far deviates from the first. ALMOST alien to Gallagher Girls.
Yesssss! I like Nick. I’m glad he’s still in the plot.

I finished the book 2 hours ago. It was SO GOOD. There were parts where I wanted to throw my kindle or hit someone. But I loved it. Thank you Ally Carter for writing another great Heist Society book. Perfect Scoundrels was the best/most intense/most emotional Heist Society book so far
