I’ve been getting a lot of questions lately, so let’s just jump right in!
Where are you going on tour?
- Houston, Texas
- Phoenix, Arizona
- Toronto, Ontario
- Los Angeles, California
- Portland, Oregon
- Cincinnati, Ohio
- Lansing, Michigan
- St. Louis, Missouri
For complete details, go here.
At your event, can I bring my books from home?
That depends on the event, I think. Usually the answer is yes, but each host store will have its own rules and policies, so please check with the store before you make your plans.
Will you be signing Gallagher Girls books as well as Heist Society books?
Yes. As a general rule I’ll sign almost anything you put in front of me, but again, it is a good idea to check with the host store regarding their policies.
Do I have to buy Perfect Scoundrels from the host store if I’m going to attend the event there?
Sorry to sound like a broken record, but you to need to check with the host store on this too. If there were one uniform answer I promise I would give it, but it really does vary with every stop, so to find out the answer for the event you’re attending you’re better off going to the source.
On a personal note I will add that even if you don’t have to buy Perfect Scoundrels (or any book) from the host store to go through the line and get an autograph, I think it’s really polite, cool, and courteous if you buy something. These stores go to a lot of work to make these events possible. Please show your support at the cash register and hopefully they will be able to have even more awesome events that you can attend.
What is Double-Crossed…exactly?
Double-Crossed is a FREE novella (longer than a short story, shorter than a novel) that includes Macey & Aunt Abby from the Gallagher Girl novels and Kat & Hale from Heist Society. They meet. They fight crime. Hale wears a tux. Do I need to say more?
Where does Double-Crossed take place chronologically within each series?
It doesn’t actually matter that much, but I did have in mind that Double Crossed is taking place over Macey’s winter break during her senior year. So after GG5 and before GG6. For Heist Society, it takes place after Uncommon Criminals (book 2) and before Perfect Scoundrels (book 3).
So does Double-Crossed contain spoilers for either series?
I don’t think so. If there are spoilers, they are mild in nature and won’t make a big difference either way. Seriously, the novella was written to stand alone.
Can I read Double-Crossed if I haven’t read all of the GG books or all of the Heist books?
Yes!! It is my hope that lots of people who haven’t tried either series will give this (free) novella a shot just to get introduced to the world.
Why can’t I buy a hard copy?
For a long and thorough answer to this question, go here.
Will Double-Crossed be available in other countries?
Yes! We have made it available to my foreign publishers and at least a couple of them have taken the bait. I will offer details once I know them. In the meantime, you should be able to read it on GallagherGirls.com.
It will soon be available from the iBookstore and for Sony/Kobo.
You can also check with your local independent bookstore. And, of course, it will also be available at www.gallaghergirls.com.
How many more Gallagher Girls books will you write?
I’m afraid GG6 is the last one. I’ve always said I’ll take Cammie through graduation or death, whichever comes first. And one definitely happens in this book. *cue freak outs*
How many more Heist Society books will you write?
I honestly don’t know. I really love writing these characters and this world, so I’d love to do more, but I can’t say when right now.
Will you do more stories/books like Double-Crossed where the worlds meet?
Possibly. I had a blast writing this one.
Any movie news?
Nope. Nothing to announce. Sorry.
How hot is Ryan Gosling?
So super hot.
Hotter than George Clooney?
Hush your mouth. We don’t use that kind of language around here.
