But as I looked at my room mates, I remembered that being a gallagher girl isn’t about a building. It’s about a sisterhood.
I like this line because it shows how strong the Gallagher Girl’s relationship is. They would do anything for eachother!

I FREAKING LOVE ZACH!! but then again, i am completely like cammie and all the rest of my favorite characters, but i kinda have feelings for josh… i know that sounds stupid. Zach is soo cocky and mysterious and i think cammie sometimes thinks he’s annoying at times, but she thinks he’s alright[ well, more than that but still]

i love the note too, but I’ve gotta say, my favorite line (OK, paragraph, but i cant decide which line i like best from it) would probably be the one at the end of “Don’t judge a girl by her cover” that reads-
“Despite having known him for almost a year, there were still a lot of things i still didn’t know about Zachary Goode. Like how soap and shampoo can smell so much better on him than anyone else. Like where he goes when hes not mysteriously showing up at random (and frequently dangerous) points in my life. And most of all, I didn’t know how, when he mentioned the jacket, he made me think of the sweet, romantic part of the night last November when he’d given it to me, not the terrible, bloody, international-terrorists-are-trying-to-kidnap-me part of the night that came right after.”

I’ve got to agree with this one, this paragraph drove me crazy because I actually never got to read the first two books but God this book, especially this line drove me crazy to read more. Besides Zach was like a cocky-sweet-mysterious guy,(traits I love about guys) He’s just too perfect to describe. LOLs.

I also love when in GG5 the helicopter comes down to take Cammie home from the Alps, and the nun(Mary?) asks what it is, and Cammie says,”That is my ride home.” like a badass cool chic… I really think that the nuns will come back in GG6, because Ally left unanswered questions about them, and because Mary knows that Cammie goes to a school for spys. Anybody agree?

None of Ally’s books have ever seen my book shelf because I’m always reading them I can recite some of the short chapters by heart. I read that part in my English class to and said awwww out loud and was smiling like an idiot and i usually don’t smile at school sorry but its true and my teacher said wow i don’t think ive ever seen you smile what are you reading and it was kinda awkward because my whole class was staring at me and i said oh it was this character in my book and he said something sweet and went back to my book even though i’m pretty sure some guys in my class then thought i was crazy!

I was going to post that one!!! I love it because, in my opinion, it’s the first time Zach shows how much he really cares for her. He doesn’t try to look all cool and Zach-like; he actually breaks down just by saying those words. I fell in love with that phrase (and actually took a picture of it with my iPod when I read it) and I think it’s really significant to the entire series.
…or maybe I’m just this huge romantic at heart, making a huge deal out of four words. Just sayin’…

I know what you mean. I usually skip lunch to read, my friends thought thats so weird, and they call me a nerd. But I like to read, because it takes you into another world were no one can judge you. Although I do admit when the fifth book came out, they were sitting in the library with me.
thats not weird! whenever ANYBODY at my table has a good book, they sit at the table and have to be spoonfed to remember to eat lunch!

Every so often I would tell my freinds I was takeing lunch off to read. But it was kind of hard to focus when you have like five different people stareing you like your crazy.

Omg, I started squeling like a crazed fangirl when I read that.
In a way, the line is sort of cheesy and almost too cliche. But, if you picture him saying it dead serious, the line becomes something entirely different than just a sweet response. The way I visualized him saying it was extremely serious and almost heart-breaking, and in a way, kind of scary.
Sameeeee!!!! am i the only girl who reads little snipits out loud? lol! I LOVE ZACHHH! he is like the perfect guy!!!!!!!!!!! And i agree, thats one of my fave lines <3 and i just imagine it soooo romantic, and kinda heart breaking!!!!

At the end of book two:
I didn’t dwell on the questions that had seemed so important once and were now fading like a long-lost note in a heavy rain.
I like this line in the book because it symbolizes the moment when Zach first asked Cammie out via note and she accidentally went outside in the rain with the note. It evaporated. I find it funny how so many people miss this line.

I love the part after that when he says somthing like “Made by the best peeping academys” I was in class and laughed just loud enough for everyone in the poribale to hear. But then again it wasn’t the first time. And durring the whole perriod of me reading the series peolpe got used to looking over and seeing me make a face after what I just read, or at least me freinds did. Also I don’t know if anyone eles experenced this after finising GG4 before they could read GG5, but I experencied what I call “Gallager Girls Squeeks”. What happened was I would uncontrollibaley suck in mass amounts of air resoulting in a squeeking sound, and this went on for about a week up intill I got to read the 5th GG book. Ask any of freinds I’m not kidding. It was annoying and very disrupetive in class but I hid my squeeks pretty well.

I know i LOOOOVVVEEEDDD that line!!!! and does anyone else think that Mr.Solomon might be Zach’s dad?? I always though that was impossible but like idk its not a for sure feelin but its just somethin at the back of my mind. cuz in GG5 when like everyone is tlkin in Mrs.Morgan’s office and Mr.Solomon said somethin like “He wouldn’t tell me anything else. He thought i was to emotionally involved.” and than he looks over at Zach. it just got me wondering. maybe Zach’s dad isnt dead after all.
I don’t think Mr Solomon is Zachs dad because in GG5 Cammie asks Zach if Solomon is Zachs dad and he says no.
But i really won’t to find out if they are related or not
true.. but when i read that i thought maybe Mr.Solomon didnt tell Zach that he was his father. this sounds like star wars now lol “Zach. I am your father.” but Zach would probs be like “YES!” lol but even if he’s not Zach’s dad he could be realated to him somehow?? OR Mr.Solomon was like good friends with Zach’s dad and Zach’s dad died somehow so Mr.Solomon is just watching over him.
I feel like either he doesn’t know or that’s his way of saying that Mr. Solomon as we know him isn’t his dad – in other words, the good Mr. Solomon that Cammie knows would never be in love with Catherine, and as far as he remembers, Zach only knew the good Mr. Solomon, not the man who was in love with Catherine.

One of my favourite lines from the entire series is from the first book, LYKY. Actually, come to think of it, most of my favourite lines are from the first book and second book…before Cammie’s life took a turn from being outright complicated to extremly and highly dangerous.

I LOVE this line from the book. The whole series is based on teenage girls in spy school dealing with keeping themselves alive and balancing being normal and being a spy, but this line IMMEDIATELY made me think of something out of the cheezy spy movies. I LOVE it.

That isn’t the exact quote; I don’t have the book on hand. Rachel is my favorite character, and I love how much it says about her and even Cammie, as people and as mother and daughter. It also explains a main theme of the series: lying, or at least not telling the full truth.

SO, I don’t know the quote by heart, but I remember it was something that Bex said, something like, “Don’t you get it, Cammie? For the first time since you left, we’re finally allowed to be mad at you.”
oh i really love that quote i felt so connected to the characters that line was so uncorrupted and pure it was just a fact no secrects no lying it was a moment that for some reason made me want to cry…wow i’m a nerd
thats not that bad trust me. when i read these books in school ( for like the 30000000th time) my friends inform me that i make facial expressions, and they can tell me when im reading what is happenning in n the book………… soo ya just crying isnt that bad,…………..

This quote is so true and explained a lot for me. My mind always keeps coming back to those six reasons. I have a lot of favorites but this one has stuck with me. After all it’s said by a seasoned proffesional (who happens to be super hot)
even though everyone is all talking about Zach (I only got halfway down the comments before I gave up trying to read them all) I love the line from the first one! It’s “Hey Cammie…” he was taking long, lazy steps, backing away from me, toward the lights and the sound of the festival in full swing. “…tell Suzie she’s a lucky cat.” Have sexier words ever been spoken? I seriously think not!

I love the series so much i bet i will cry when I read the last one, i mean im really sensative, i cried at the end of the Hunger Games and Matched and Crossed (btw r both Really Great series). I googled and everything until i found that in london the MI5 actually have application forms to join up. Mind you will have to be 18 years old first.

Okay, well, my mom read the books and now she’s constantly telling me before dances that there isn’t to be any ‘dippage’ or ‘winkage’…so, yeah, I guess those are more or less her favorite…words…of the series.
Anyway, I liked the quote in book 1: “The time for crying with your girlfriends about a broken heart is over chocolate ice cream and chick flicks–not stun guns and bulletproof vests.”
Knowing my particular friends, that line may come in handy some day…

I have to say I <3 everything about the favorite lines Gallagher Girls series, but if I HAD to pick I would say my favorite lines are from when Macey first arrived at The Gallagher Academy. The scene happens when Cammie and Bex give Macey a tour of the school.

Love Gallagher girls and heist society I can’t pick my favourite line coz there’d be at least 30!!! Just finished heist society and loved it!!! Ally carter and Rick riordan are my Favourite authors ever!! I think it would be funny if hale and zach were somehow long lost twin brothers coz they have the same personality!! Also I think I might know hale’s name!
i liked it at the end of “dont judge a girl by her cover” when cammie finds out the piece of evapopaper that zach had given her in the pocket of “the jacket”.
my favorite punch line is when cammie says, “When you punch Bex hard, she will punch you backc harder.”
My other favorite line is when zach looks awstruck when cammie calls him blackthorne boy.

My second favorite part is when Cammie tells him he looks cold. And my third is when Cammie calls him Blacthorne Boy. I know you said one but I didn’t know which one to do.

I love all of those too! And I couldn’t decide either! I actually had to do a report for LA and I did it on Cross my Heart and Hope to spy. I read a whole chapter in front of the class and it was the chapter where she first meets Zach. it was a little awkward saying “By then, I’m pretty sure the boy was flirtting with me.” In front of the class, buit I got over it. everyone loved it! I memorized the whole chapter and I still have it in my head. It was at least a couple months ago.

there are so many parts to the series that i love!!! i always love how zack always points to him self and says “spy” i love their whole relationship!! i really love him in the 5th book it really shows how much he cares for her. i love bex too shes that super awesome person that you always wish you could be. the charecters go really well together and the story plot is really great!!

i love when zach is about to kiss cammie and then it gets interrupted by dedee and josh and zach say a bad word in farsi but it was fine because dedee would never understnd …. just something i remembered off the top of my head sorry not word for word .. but something i ALWAYS think of after reading gg5 is that zach and townsend have an alright relationship when they first meet; some of the things said throughout the book get me thinking that townsend might be zachs father the fact the cammie even said that townsend kind of looks like what zach would be when hes older, zach and townsend are alright with eachother and also that townsend told zach that hes met his mother before
Also, I just love it when throughout the book Zach called Cammie, Gallagher Girl. And also when Grant calls Bex the British Bombshell. I love the note in Cross My Heart & Hope To Spy from Zach to Cammie asking her out! So cute! Especially when Zach calls Josh “Jimmy* and then the translation by Macey on the note from Zach asking Cammie out. AHHHH. Way too many, Ally, your characters have way too many GOOD QUOTES!.
