I’m sorry to have to be the bearer of bad news, but I just learned that Only the Good Spy Young will now be released on June 29, 2010 instead of June 15th.
This is largely my fault as this book took many more drafts to write than I had initially thought. In the end, though, I’m happy with the book–very happy–and I hope you will be too.
I also hope that you’ll agree that it’s better to have a book you love that’s slightly late than a book that comes out two weeks earlier and contains many things you’ll regret for years to come.

boo hiss…oh well. im super hyped now i love mini experts almost as much as i love deleted scenes and with the book coming out in 3 months i very excited because i know i will be seeing more of these.

No worries on the new publishing date. A week or two more won’t kill us. Plus, you’ve already given us one book this year, so it’s alllll good. haha

Well anyway, As long as the book is awesome(Which I don’t doubt a bit) I think it will worth the wait.
So I have conclude:
an 80% of me says the doble agent is Zach. An 5% says it’s any of cammie’s classmate. An 5% says it’s Joe Solomon. An 9.9% says it’s any other person and an 0.1% says it’s Josh.
(The last one: Totally a Joke!)
And like if cammie trust really well Tina, or if Joe Solomon is a friend of cammie. But those are just guesses

I think Aunt Abby might be the double Agent. Because in the last book she told Cammie not to trust him. Aunt Abby wants to lead Cammie to think that Zach is the bad guy so she doesn’t seem suspicious, but it Really it’s her herself! I really don’t want it to be Zach. I love him too much. He doesn’t seem like a double agent, he seems like a protector for Cammie. <3

That’s fine! It’s not like it’s 6 months later or anything! I finally got to read (and read again) Heist Society and it was awesome! One question for you–is the Henley a real museum? I know several of the ones listed (like the Louvre) are real, but since I looked it up and couldn’t find it, I’m supposing it’s a product of your (awesome!) imagination. Is that correct? Can’t wait for GG4 (and Heist 2!)
hmm…interesting….I love the summary of GG4! and though i wish it could be earlier, 2 weeks isn’t that much of a big change so I’m glad as long as it’s goode which…it sounds to be! I think Zach’s going to be the double agent but then…does cammie trust zach? who else could it be? hmm…though I think zach’s trying to protect cammie because in Boston zach (in disguise) “accidently” bumped in to her which we all know is impossible because…well he’s ZACH! and he doesn’t do accidents. so…my feeling is…zach’s original job is to be the bad guy but then he fell in love with cammie and decided tonprotect her….OR zachs pretending to be a double agent but is actually a triple agent and his job is to protect cammie…AH MY BRAIN HURTS ANYWAY ZACH N CAMMIE ALL THE WAY!! :p

Okay this is what i think….. The Blackthorn school (you know the one for the guys) is the evil school and Zach is suppose to be bad but he likes Cammie to much so his a double agent. He is still doing his job but he is warning Cammie about it or somthing. My other guess is Joe Solomon. But i don’t think so. i SO HOPE that Zach is good nnot bad. I think everyone thinks he is the double agent but they dont want him to be. i hope he protects her. Well that is what i think.

I’m a little dissapointed. I was going to hve a great 2 weeks first I’d spend a week reading gg4 then go to camp. But I could read it after camp. I just really can’t wait for it to come out!
2 weeks isn’t that bad ;] I’m sure I’ll last. This gives me an extra 2 weeks to read the other books multiple times.

I don’t think the double agent is Zack, I think it’s going to be Bex, because of the whole London thing even though I would never think that on a million years if it hadn’t said London unless it’s Macey, but I doubt that.

Or Tina. Because in book two and tree, Tina’s “sources” get closer and closer to the truth. Maybe Tina’s messing up her sources on purpose to keep out of suspition. PLEASE excuse my spelling.
So judging by “clues” i say it’s Bex, Mr. Solomon, or Tina. Still possibly Zach. If the double spy was Josh it would be a fun twist, but unlikely.

Zach is not a double agent for the bad guys…He’s a double agent for the good side with Cammie. The Aunt Abby idea makes no sense.
Are you kidding me..its deffidently Zach… In end of the 3rd book the bad guy talks to Zach(as Zach is saving Cammie) and says YOU??(page 249 of hard cover)….meaning he can’t believe its Zach who is helping Cammie….which means that Zach’s a double agent for Cammmie’s side—- he has been giving information to Solomon. Also it says Zach has sources(page 255 hard cover)….BUT now the bad side knows Zach is a double agent and Zach is going to have to trick the bad side into thinking he is still on their side….So to Cammie it will seem like he has betrayed her but really he is trying to save her.

wow when i first read the description my first reaction was Bex cause of the “London” thing, and then it was Mr. Soloman. I didn’t even think of Zach! But now I think Zach or Josh would be a pretty good canadidate, but they’re kinda too obvious. Plus Josh has to do something; Zach seems like the boyfriend role, so Josh has to contribute to the series in some way! umm.. guys……. Cammie goes to London WITH BEX so it can’t be Bex. I was thinking….. it will be to obvious to be Zach and in nearly every comment everyone thinks its Zach but they dont want it to be. See, Cammie’s mom and aunt both know and are close with bex’s parents, so its probably not bex. It would be AWESOME if it was actually Zach

And zach would be to obvious… ive been thinking about it being Josh 2 u wouldnt expect him becuz he doesnt go to a spy school. Then when u mention Cammies dad!! Think about it! Her dad left one day 4 a mission and didnt come back! It doesnt mean he died and MR SOLOMON said that “Ive already lost one member of the Morgan family i care about” what if her dad was already working 4 someone else. Then it says “The key to cammies future lies deep w/in her past… it would hav 2 b b4 she started the Galagher Accademy.. So many possibilities… but the other i thought something else what if Blackthrone is the Circle of Caven….. I CANNOT WAIT ILL B AT THE STORE ALL DAY…!!!!
I love Zach i do NOT want it to be him……and I don’t think it’s him because like someone said Cammie doesn’t trust him. But Then I do think it’s him for that reason and the fact that whenever Zach and Cammie talk it seems like he has a million secrets….some have to do with the people trying to get to Cammie. Why? Because in the end of GG3 the dude that jumps out of the van TOTALLY knows Zach!!!!!
1. It’s not Bex. Bex may many things but Bex is not a lying backstaber on her own terms. Now if she was being blackmailed or something I’m sure she’d find a way to kick the persons butt cause that’s what she does, kick bad guys butts!
2.Liz is possibly a possibility. But this is very unlikely. Liz is small and sweet but also she does have a family who aren’t spys and could be targeted….but i don’t think she would give up having her gallagher family and her best friends and home.
3.Macey is a awesome spy and can create an amazing cover but for some reason I feel like Macey loves the people she can change her cover around the most and understands her. Cam, Liz, and Bex are the people she leans on.
as for solomon i have no idea…. i don’t understand him… but yes he’s a great possibilty.
It may be Zach…when those people attacked Cammie in the end of GG3, the one bad guy they caught (or almost caught) looked up at Zach and said, “You?” like they had been working together. And Zach had helped Cammie get away instead of getting her into the van. I mean, I love Zach, but what if he only took Cammie outside so the Circle of Cavan could get her in the truck? And her friends came out, spoiling his plan, so he had to be the “good guy.” I REALLY hope not! I doubt it’s Solomon…and Josh is just a town-boy! He wasn’t even in GG3…I doubt it’s him. I never really liked him anyways. No offence, Ally (Carter). Just not my type. I like the mysterious, hot, spy guys.

i really hope it isn’t zach and i dont think it is cause it would be too obvious, but i am suspecting liz or macey possibly soloman. although i really hope they start giving cammie some answers here. like why people r after her. if her dad is really dead, stuff like that. soloman zach and her mom keep sooo many things from her.
There’s some reasons to believe that it’s and isn’t Zach:
reasons to believe is him: So mysterios, always having a million secreanther the guy who jumped out of the van at the end of GG3 seems to know him!, and well, kinda obvios(And that’s a reason to believe he isn’t)
Reasons to believe he is not:
to obvios, in GG3 Cammie says that she kind feels she can’t trust him anymore and there are many more people who could be.
In my opinion I think we should wait and figured out when we are reading, that will make the book waaaay more awesome

Okay. No matter who it is, Zach, Solomon, and Cammie’s dad all have something in common. Whether that link is meeting on a mission or some intricate battle to keep Cammie in the safe, i don’t have the slightest clue. But it’s there.
Anyways, if you really want a twist, it may be her dad or Solomon.
Macy, Bex, Liz,and all their friends wouldn’t really work. They have been through way too much together to turn on her now.

My first thought is that the double agent is Zach. I don’t know why, but maybe it’s because the way he always hints that Cammie wouldn’t want to be in his school. And like Cammie said, the Blackthrone boys weren’t like that Gallagher Girls. And he lied to Tina about the Code Black. And he was in Boston. And on the train. And Abby asked Cammie to stay away from him. And what he said to Cammie at the game. And when the man who was attacking Cammie whispered, “You?” to Zach. Zach always comes back to Cammie, and she had mentioned how there are “no coincidences..only plans and missions and lies. ”
But then another part of me feel like it’s someone else,someone no one thought of. Like Solomon, one of girls,the teachers, Abby.
Honestly, I hope it’s not one of the best friends, Solomon, Abby, or…Zach. It would really hurt Cammie if it’s one of these people.
But then, if one of them turns out to be a triple agent, that would be a completely different thing.

I agree. I think this guessing is making all of our heads exploding with questions and suspicions. Now it seems like everyone in the book was suspected by someone. Even Josh, Cammie’s dad, etc. But then, it’s one of Cammie’s MOST-TRUSTED allies…

I guess this means that, with more time, it’ll be that much better. i just watched the video to ‘If We Ever Meet Again’ by Timbaland featuring Katy Perry, and the beginning totally reminded me of Heist Society. So, I decided that I had to tell you. Then, I had an urge to read one of your books, especially Heist Society. So, I’ll probably re-read Heist Society because it was so amazing the first time so I’m sure it will still be just as amazing, if not even better. Then I realized that you were writing a second Heist Society and I then realized that I REALLY REALLY REALLY need to know what else is going to happen!!!!! I guess I’ll just have to do a lot of waiting for your great writing. But it’s always worth the wait!

Im sorry but i do not agree with you. I also do not think my friends who have read this book(and that is a lot since i love to recomend books if they are good)would agree either. When my friends and i go to see a movie based on a book there is a lot of popcorn throwing at the screen because the movie characters are not what the book said they were. But if it is good we will see it multiple times and recommend it to others. i know you still might change the characters age but don’t blame me if i only see the movie once.

Yeah I suspect it’s Zach. But I LOVE Zach so I kind of hope it isn’t him… maybe she just finds out that he USED to be a rogue double-agent but he isn’t now. But she doesn’t know he isn’t now so she just doesn’t trust anyone or something… except that’s kind of a cliche story… I don’t know I’m just uber excited to read it now haha!
I definitely don’t think it’s Josh because Josh is a civilian. He’s DEFINITELY a civilian. It could possibly be Abby… it says one of her most-trusted allies, but not FRIEND (although I don’t see how you can trust someone and not be their friend…). So it’s someone she trusts… her teachers, her classmates, Zach, Josh, her mom, and Abby. It isn’t a new character because I went to see Ally on tour for Heist and she said one new character that was an adult, and if it’s someone Cammie trusts then wouldn’t it NOT be someone she just met?
I don’t really like them changing the ages of the characters in the heist society movie ’cause they could add a lot of bad stuff. If your 21 and older, you can date, vote, drive, drink, smoke, and go into clubs. SO I don’t really agree with that.
Well, if Mr. Solomon WAS the double-agent, Cammie’s mom wouldn’t have known and that would be why she hired him.

How long is GG4, I read it was part of Cammie’s break and her Jr. year. to me that sounds long like 200 pgs or more (not that I’m complaining the longer the better)?

He has been extremely suspicious (unless of course he’s just stalking her, which is still suspicious but not as bad as him being for the other side.) However, I agree with Michelle on April 14 at 10:53; if it is him, he used to be a double agent, but he isn’t one anymore.

another thing they hav in common. Zach went to blackthorne, solomon went to blackthorne and even though cammies mom said he didn’t i personally think that Cammies dad went to Blackthorne too. Remeber the picture cammie found and her mom said he just gave speeches?? i think theres more to the story, but thats just my personal opinion.

Totally agree. like ally said she named solomon because there was this wise guy in the bible, so solomon is the wise teacher in cammies life. wise teachers don’t kill learning students it just doesnt happen and that would be so wrong on many different levels.

I’m not sure it will be Zach as the double agent, but i can’t wait till GG4 comes out!!! I hope in this book that Cammie “The Chameleon” figures out who she really is and listens to her heart on who she loves. I’ve always wanted to be a Gallagher Girl. Somebody has got to make a school for Gallagher Girls. I hope to be enrolled in it someday if they do make it!! (which i hope) P.S. Zack is meant to be with Cammie!!!

i think Zach and Cammie do not belong together. Josh should be with Cammie if he really loves Cammie he would become a blackthorn boy and they will be perfect for each other. If Zach really cared about Cammie why did he not protect her in Boston when she needed help. He lies to her, doesn’t tell her anything, spies on her a LOT and i don’t think they are right for each other.
