As we inch closer and closer to the release of ONLY THE GOOD SPY YOUNG I can’t help but think that it’s time to have another countdown widget contest!
You know…like we did for Heist and GG3?
Here are the rules. Please follow them exactly. And good luck!

1. To enter just design a countdown widget–how and where you do that is totally up to you.
2. You will need to email the code to allycartercontest (at sign) gmail.com on or before Sunday, May 2nd.
3. Put GG4 Countdown in the subject line of the email, please.
4. DO NOT use that email address for non-contest emails (please note that abuse of this email–for things like mass mailings, forwarded emails, etc.–may result in disqualification from future contests.)
5. The winner will receive a $50 gift card to the bookstore of his or her choice!
6. Due to legal restrictions, this contest is open to US and Canadian residents only. (I’m sorry international Gallagher Girls! I will try to work with the publishers who issue the books in your countries to do something international soon.)

ps…if you’re not sure what a widget is, search this blog or just go to the links above to read about past challenges. If you’re not sure how to make a widget, I hope that you’ll accept the challenge of learning something new–to me, that’s really half the fun.

hey Paula – GG4 comes out June 29, and although Ally herself can’t produce the movies a couple have film rights – they’re working on Heist right now! more info is on the FAQ page
I have no clue what a countdown widget is but oh well. I still LOVE the Gallagher Girls series=)

I know this is totally off topic about the wigets and everything but I have just fallen in love with a book and dont know what to do. I hope you understand when I say that the book is “Gone with the Wind” And it broke my heart practically and I dont know what to do! And I heard that there are sequals and I was wondering if you knew anything. Have you ever had a book (not written by yourself because I know that is heart breaking) break your heart and rip it at the seems? Yes, I am VERY melodramatic. But I kind of need your help Ally. This book broke my heart and I wish I knew every detail of the everything that happens. This is a lot to ask but do you know anything about it?

I love Gone With the Wind also and I read all of the sequels. Rhett Butlers People was by far the best.

i sent you the code but for some reason it took parts out so you dont end up with the countdown. is it alright if i send it in a word document and attach it??

HI! Okay when Zach and Cam were hiding on the train in GG3.. They heard noises outside the door, were they actually from Macey or was it some other people?
I’m confused on what a widget is, and I’m supposed to design.
A widget is (in this case) a countdown tool that has months,days,minutes and seconds that countdown till GG4 comes out. Ally wants you to be creative and decorative when doing this. Hope that helped!

Hi Ally! We dont know if this is what the comment box is for, but we would just like you to know, that we are your BIGGEST fans ever! We LOVE your books! We have read GG1, GG2, GG3 and Heist Society! We want to read ALL of the books you write! We cant WAIT till Only the Good Spy Young comes out! ;D
Hey Ally I think just to say that though it would be weird to age the characters in the movie Heist Society it would be a great movie still to see. Because it would give us a chance to see how Hale and Kat would be like and how if they would become girlfriend and boyfriend. So me and my friends give you two thumbs up for what ever choice you do.
