Remember how a few weeks ago I mentioned that I was going to be attending the Texas Library Association Annual Convention in Houston next week?
Well, I got my official agenda from my publisher yesterday, and I wanted to share some specific places and times with those of you who are going to be there:
10:00-11:50 a.m. Lone Star Authors Shine*
Convention Center
Ballroom A, Third Level
*I will be speaking with Scott Westerfeld, Roland Smith, and Gary D. Schmidt about our books that have appeared on the Texas Lone Star Reading List.
1:00-2:00 p.m. Disney-Hyperion Autographing*
Convention Center
Signing Aisle 6
*I will be autographing books–yay! (Not sure if this is an “the publisher gives people ARCs” or a “bring your own books from home” situation or what. But I’ll be there. And I’ll have a sharpie. And I won’t be afraid to use it!)
2:30-2:50 p.m. Texas Teens 4 Libraries (TT4L)*
Hilton Americas-Houston
Grand Ballroom D-E
*This is a chance for teens to hang out and chat with YA authors who are at the conference!
3:00-4:00 p.m. Brilliance Autographing Session
Convention Center
Brilliance Booth #1737
*I will be signing audiobooks, most likely in CD form. Like a rock star.
I also plan on spending as much time as possible meeting tons of amazing teen authors, and getting books signed, and attending incredibly cool sessions.
Just thinking about it makes me giddy.

pps..I don’t know this for a fact, but I highly suspect that we will have ARCs of GG3 there. Maybe.
